The Carol Peletier Criticism Thread

I hope she dies, to be honest. I don't see how she'll fit back in with the group again (unless they have her show full remorse, apologize to Rick and admit he was right), I really think she has to kill Lizzie and I think that guilt will tip her over the edge.

Yeah, the Daryl/Carol arc may be nothing more than Daryl discussing with Beth what Carol did and how Rick handled it. I mean, they're wandering around alone so there has to be some relevant topic of conversation. I actually kind of wonder how Beth will react. The new Beth may actually surprise us and condone what Carol did.

Lizzie even has a leg up on her in that category for crying out loud

One wonders how helpful she would have been during the mid season finale battle had she been there

Probably would have fatally shot Rick by accident this time (after coming damn close in SEED)

Not gonna happen. 
As I mentioned elsewhere, I don't think the writers know how to write her properly. So, no, she's not gonna redeem herself - in your eyes at least - and no, she's not gonna save someone. She'll either be reintegrated "just because" at some point or she'll die. 

Not gonna hurt you, totally get your point.

Carol's too busy making sure her ass is safe to be worried about saving someone else... Hell, look at what she did to Andrea...left her with a dead walker on top of her, then ran like a chicken with her head cut off, then lied about it...

I've been sick in bed so I rewatched every epi and the more I watched, the more I hate Carol..

My hatred went to an all time high with this line:

"Sophia & Ed are someone elses slideshow"... I get her saying that about Ed, but Sophia.... Just proves that Sophia was just a means to an end.... Sure, she might have loved her, but Carol loved herself more and that sentence proved it... Sophia provided her with an excuse to be weak, pathetic, and useless... Sophia is the reason she got so many free freaking passes...

Rewatching the show only reminds me why I hate her.... and hope she dies soon......really soon....

I'll always hate the bitch for allowing her own daughter to die. She fucking stood there and whined while watching her daughter being chased by monsters. Any decent mother would have sacrificed herself, but not Laundry Carol. Then she has the balls to bitch at Rick, who risked his own life to try to save her.

They should have done the suicide thing with her in S2 like they planned; instead, she just dragged around S3 with nothing to do. She got a little more interesting when she killed, but she's still totally irredeemable to me.
