Unfortunatley, I do....and I call BS on that....

Andrea didn't deserve the ending she got.....and if they go that way with Carol, she won't either...

As much as I hated Lori, she went out in a good way... She owned her shit, admitted her mistakes.... showed remorse, guilt, regret.....She died a horrific death, but she did so to say her child... still didn't like her, but her death ended the right way...

Andrea wasn't a damn martyr... She wasn't trying to save anyone... She sold out her friend for a penis, stayed in Woodbury for a penis, got the god complex from her psycho lover, then pretended that it was all about saving everyone...

Carol was weak, pathetic, useless and liked it that way... She went from that to stone cold Shane/Andrea like.... Her Andrea traits were that she knew better than everyone.... she refused to listen to anyone.....because she knew better...and she looked down on everyone. Shane-like in that she could kill 2 defenseless family members and justify it by saying she did it for the group...when in fact, she did it for herself...and that she was good at hiding the changes in her from everyone... .She wasn't the kind, caring, sweet woman they thought....and she hid it...

If Carol gets another damn free pass, I'm going to scream....  If she gets Andrea's way out, endless excuses and made up BS that turn her into a fake martyr I'm going to scream.....LOl

No more free pass for the succubus.. Now, that she has a personality, a cold one, but it's a personality I hope they don't whitewash her shit....I'm just ready for Carol to be gone.. Her story is finished.... and I can't wait for the ending..

"Can You Come Back".....  Yes & No.... Carol can come back, but it's still time for Carol to go.....and I will do my very happy, happy dance...LOL

I hope not. If she does die this season, let her be Merle'd, so to speak. That entire Andrea storyline was such bullshit. I hope they don't ruin Carol like they did her.

My feelings for Carol started out as white-hot hatred and contempt for a wet dishrag who did nothing, literally nothing, and let her daughter die. Then in S3 they started to do something with her character being Hershel's backup and then...nothing. She cowered in the prison and talked big, telling Andrea to kill the Governor when she should have taken her own advice and done the same to Ed, and that was it. When S4 started I actually---

--started to not loathe her entirely. She was teaching the children to fight, left the safety of the fences, and showed some balls. While I don't totally agree with her killing Karen and Whoever I don't blame her for it. The thing is, after 3 whole years of doing nothing and being nothing I don't know that the writers can do anything to make her a likeable character for me.

See, this is really the whole issue in one sentence to me. Liking Carol or not is now irrelevant and very secondary to the question of realism: once everyone knows what she did, would they just take her back knowing that she went rogue? There would always be the question of will she do it again and this time will it be me or someone I love? If she is just written back into the group the shark shall have been jumped, IMO.

I know the writers sometimes shit the bed, but I honestly can't see them doing anything but killing her off at this point UNLESS suspected foilers actually are true and someone else killed Karen and <Insert Unknown Dude's Name Here>.

Foilers are just that... Foilers.... but I do get what your saying.... the thing is if Carol comes back and is welcomed with open arms, forgiven, trusted, I call BS... and if they do rewrite it and make the foilers true, I call pandering to one fanbase over good storytelling.....  and even if they did this big rewrite, Carol still covered for a damn murderer, then left said murderer at the prison without warning anyone, putting everyone at risk...which is worse, IMO...

I dont think anyone would trust her again.... Here's the thing.. .Maggie didn't like what she did.... She thought it was wrong, but didn't know if she could have banished her...which if she did that to Beth, Glen, or Hershel she would have...  Hershel was hurt & betrayed by what she did... No, he didn't say it, but you could see it on his face.. He didn't see that coming... Yes, he's dead, but still even kind Hershel was blown away by Carol's betrayal..

Ty will not be so forgiving or understanding... She killed the woman he loved... then pretened to be concerned and he even asked her to look after a very sick Sasha....

Daryl was her friend, but she really betrayed him... He didn't know this Carol, because she hid who she was.. .  Not to mention, Carol continually got in his face about Merle... Merle wasn't good for him, Merle was bad, did bad things, etc, etc, etc... Well guess what, this is something Merle would do...so pot meet kettle.. She played him.....

They just will never be able to fully trust her, ever again...  Yes, they can still care for her, be hurt by what she did, but trust.. .No way.... They've done that before and it failed... i.e. Shane

I just feel that Carol's story is about to come to a close.... I really think she's going to lie to Ty about what happened.... I think that she's going to believe that she was right, Rick was wrong, etc...up until Lizzie murders the other children, because I so see that happening....  Lizzie will tell Carol, this is what you taught me to do....leaving Carol to realize that she failed, again.. and that she was so wrong in going so cold...

She did nothing for Sophia and she died....  She went total Shane/Andrea in the hopes that her replacement kids would survive and she was wrong... Imagine Carol having to put Lizzie down, then realizing all this, I can so see her comic story meeting her TV story... Carol meet your walker boyfriend...LOL

I just don't see anyone trusting her again...and I don't see her coming out of this....  Not without some consequences... and those consequences aren't Rick banishing her.... The consequences are she isn't trusted.....She also has to show remorse, guilt, regret, and apologize to the group, Rick & Daryl especially... also, Ty.... but even if Carol realizes that she was wrong, can she live with what she's done???

They did say that there would be 3 episodes about the Daryl/Carol arc but that does NOT mean it's about a reunion, or anything such as that, I truly believe they don't even see each other again until the last episode or two. But what I do think is that they correlate them with the Daryl/Beth interactions as well as the Tyreese/Carol ones, and then perhaps the final one where they see each other again...or he finds her dead or something, not sure. But I don't know how much more story she could have too b/c I also think Lizzie kills Mika and she has to kill Lizzie. What I'd like to see is the guilt from that eat her up and she kills herself.

I agree.....  I think this is or should be Carol's final season...and it should end that way....her going BSC and kills herself....but that's just me..

I mean, where else can they go with her... She's done the abuse victim, grieving mother, weak, pathetic useless victim until it's almost vomit inducing..... She became stronger, then turned into a combo of Shane/Andrea....what's left???

I just see her finding Ty & the kids... not telling him what she did.... then Lizzie goes BSC... I just think that whatever Lizzie does, she's going to tell Carol that she only did what Carol taught her and told her to do.... and that is going to drive Carol BSC..

I need to see Carol show some damn guilt, remorse, regret, and finally own her shit... something she's never done.... not even with Sophia..

She blames Rick for Sophia... She blames Ed.. She blames everyone for everything, but never takes responsibility....  I like MMB, but loathe her character, because the writing for Carol drove me BSC.... I do like that they made her the killer, turned her into a full-fledge sneaky manipulator, because I always felt she was good at manipulating everyone..

It would be awesome to have Carol finally take responsibilty... Own that it was her fault, not Rick's that Sophia didn't make it... That she could have & should have left Ed, if only for Sophia's protection, but didn't because it was easier and she always took the easy way out.. That after Ed died, she put Sophia & Her safety on the backs of the group.. .that she should have ran after her kid, should have looked for her, but didn't bother....  That she blamed Rick, because that way she didn't have to take ownership of anything..... That killing Karen/David wasn't really about saving the group, but about not losing her replacement Sophia's....that she was wrong.... Show some guilt about lying & manipulating those she called family, by allowing them to think she was still the sweet, caring woman they thought she was.. .admit that she bullied the kids into her way of thinking... etc

Carol needs to show and admit her guilt.. .just once....She needs to take ownership of her crap and not blame everyone else and she needs to not be saved again....

I think how it ties together is Daryl having to deal with losing everyone and coming to the realization that his friend changed into something he didn't see coming.. that after she stalked him, stuck her nose in his business, said all that shit about Merle, she turned out to be not that different.... that she killed 2 defenseless people and wasn't sorry and he doesn't know that person and maybe Beth helps him deal with that... 


I don't want an ANdrea ending for Carol.... Not after all she's done....

I just wish some would stop making it about Daryl/Carol and make it about Daryl's arc, Carol's arc, etc....  Carol's death would free NR/Daryl's character and that is something I would do a happy dance about... Neither character need that anymore.....a character that can't stand alone is a useless character..JMO..
