The last season would adapt the current arc in the GN: All Out War. Tyreese gets Lucille'd. Daryl dies a few episodes before the end in a blaze of glory. Rick leads the attack against Negan, and they win. Negan stabs Rick in the heart, Sasha kills Negan, and Carl puts Rick down. Maggie dies giving birth to Glenn's baby, Carol becomes leader of Alexandria and agrees to help raise Maggie's child with Glenn, and the final shot is Carl and Michonne walking off into the unknown.
Unless AL renews his contract of 7 seasons-I don't see it going past that. But if the show continues at its CSR (comic to show ratio) it covered 48 issues in 3 1/2 seasons--which means we won't even meet Negan by season 7's end. Unless the show changes directions swiftly-the final battle will not even involve Negan and the Saviors. Rick will die in the final episode-and the child of Maggie and Glenn will provide a way to control-if not cure-to the walker virus.
Nightmare finish: if this infamous story of this all being Rick's nightmare in the hospital comes to fruition-I am going to cry-then jump of a cliff.
Maybe that’s a joke I’ll get in a few months. Reedus: As long as the writing is there and the desire and enthusiasm are there, it’ll go on for a long time. I’d be Daryl Dixon till I’m eighty-five years old.
Lincoln: If he’s still in it and I’m still in it, I’ll keep doing it.
I'm thinking 8 seasons right now. They'll hit syndication with the very first episode, which can also have he whole "Lucille" moment occurring in the 100th episode just as it occurred in the 100th issue.
But there are these thangs called MOTION PICTURES that might make him feel differently than you think he will.
Let's hope he'll be filthy rich by Season 7 and money is no longer an object-especially since he has a rich father-in-law to leave him and his wife MORE money
