I Don't Ship Caryl Thread

I don't ship Caryl, it's a headcanon at this point and I don't think they're going to ever make it canon either. Canon, to me, has the same standard as some hold to make it not canon. Meaning, for a couple to not be canon by some, they'd have to say they loved someone else or be with someone else.....so for Caryl to be more than a headcanon, they'd literally have to say "I'm in love with you" or kiss or whatever. That's on a romance level.

Not only do I not ship that vile mess..... I absolutely hurl in my mouth at the very idea of that vulgar crap......LOL

I dealt with them as friends, but only because I had too.... but never, ever on a romantic level...they just don't have that chemistry, JMO.....

Carol served her purpose for Daryl... She helped with his growth.... Now, it's time to move on...

Daryl served his purpose for Carol...   Saved her ass repeatedly, because she just couldn't do it herself....  gave her a little airtime, and helped make some like her... .Now, move on...

Carol has her own story now, which is good... She'll either survive or die, finally......

Daryl can move on to bigger & better stories....and nothing that involves saving the succubus....LOL

Personally, I'm overthetop excited that they will be separated for most of the second half... and I'll be free of the pookie BS.....LOl

The problem for Caryl is that Daryl's so not going to run off with Carol after everyone's reunited. The show is Rick's story and Carl's, and it centers around them, and they're sure as shit not sending Daryl away from that.

Not that this is a shocker but E! had a spoiler about a pair. on TV who was going to kiss, and had a list they were taking people off of periodically, and today they removed Daryl and Carol. I could see a lot of hook-ups happening in the upcoming episodes. Carol and Ty, Daryl and Beth, Sasha and Bob, but Carol and Daryl? It's not happening. I don't see Daryl ever looking at her the same way again.

I've never seen them hooking up.... but that's just me....  I can see Carol/Ty, but not Daryl/Beth... Although, I do see Daryl/Beth bonding in a non-romantic way..... 

I just don't see Daryl as a romantic type character... He's just not that character and certainly not with the succubus...(LOL)

Carol served her purpose with Daryl and vice versa... She was there for his growth....not a romance... He was there to give her airtime....nothing more.. .  I eventually accepted that she was his friend/family, but no romance... it just didn't fit with either of them... Especially, now that she murdered 2 family members in cold blood..and played Daryl and the others for fools...

I'm thinking Daryl/Beth will bond over the loss of Hershel... He will help her through that and she will help him understand that Carol wasn't who he thought she was....that after all her talk about Merle, she was really no different..... She hid the changes, pretended to still be sweet, kind, caring Carol....basically lying to him...

Carol/Ty would be interesting.... but once Ty finds out what she did and  if she gives him the same self-serving BS explanation she gave to Rick, BAM...

Daryl/Carol are so not happened and JMO, never were going to happen.. .the thing is, pushing for that romance BS just ruined what could have been a great friendship.....that and Carol turning into a mix of Shane/Andrea....LOL

I'm glad they removed that shit on thier list... I think alot of those sites just do that to rile up the shippers only to crush them when it doesn't happen...

The only reason I think Daryl and Beth might hook up is because they might have a kind of "why not?" attitude about it. I could definitely see one of them saying something like "Everybody's probably dead, we probably will be soon, wanna fuck?"

Then again, that would kind of be a repeat of how Glenn and Maggie's relationship kicked off.

I never saw this pairing at all, but considering that Daryl said he wanted to put an arrow into whoever killed Karen the whole Caryl thing would be beyond ridiculous. Daryl doesn't go back on his word, especially when it involves the safety of the group. Hell, he chose the group over his brother.

I finally unfollowed all of TWD Facebook pages because of all the Caryl shippers who clogged the pages with "wait entil Darrel here's that rick made carole go away hes gunna be mad and kick ricks ass real good an than go fine carole" posts. Um, no. He was upset, did his customary pacing and glaring, and then stood by Rick. If he had been in love with Carol and believed she was still part of the group, he would have gone after her.

Yep, and Daryl was the one who actually suggested they go tell him. If there was any chance for Caryl, Daryl would have said, "Go fuck yourself, Rick" and gone after her. Didn't happen.

Maybe, eventually, Daryl will have a romance. Personally, I think the character is not suited for it, but by the Holy Laws of TV everyone must hook up, y'know.  I just think Daryl respects strength too much to let it be with a woman who had to be saved at every hint of danger.

True, or just asexual. He just may not really think about that kind of thing, which actually is one of the reasons I like the guy. Rick/Lori/Shane, then Glenn/Maggie, then Andrea/TG was way too much of that nonsense for me.

I'd actually like to see Daryl and Michonne bond in a totally non-sexual way. That's far more interesting to me than any soap opera.

Not on screen but they pretty much put the kabosh on that notion in an interview that I really wish I could find right now, lmao. I'm seriously paraphrasing, but Norman, the jist of it, said that Daryl's been with women, but never had emotional intimacy.

Exactly my thoughts. It would be completely stupid for "Caryl" to happen now. Too much has happened. I don't think Daryl will put a bolt in her (like he promised Tyreese), but there's no lovey dovey stuff happening after that.
